Is Pilates For Me?
Pilates is a set of mind/body exercises which train the core muscle groups of the torso: abdominal, chest, back, shoulders and hips. From there, you are trained to effectively work the areas of your arms, legs and head. The Pilates Program conditions your entire body, even your ankles and feet. The exercises are performed at a pace designed to engage the body in a pattern of controlled and precise movements allowing the mind to fully concentrate. Fewer repetitions are necessary to development strength, tone and condition.
